Another seller that doesn't like to follow rules, needs multiple flags. It's not called "craigsbay" for a reason.

Why's it always gotta be the ones with good stuff who try to pull an auction in a classified?

Agreed, only reason I posted was he had it in the barter section. I'd trade him a rusty Chevrolet pickup for them.

Ya never know, if you've got something he wants, and you don't, could be a screaming deal. But, he seems well enlightened to the hobby/interest group, market, and exactly what he has. The key here will be in having something material that he wants, and that you're into for peanuts.

There is no doubt that a pair of 288/1005's would be worth a certain degree of hoop jumping. maybe somebody fairly local can strike a deal. But, i'm not gonna bet much on it.

BTW OG, at some point in the next few weeks, after i get some pics i'm gonna post an OT thread largely with you in mind. A good friend with whom i usually snowmobile this time of year has just received and set up his new rotisserie. On the spit now cooking is a numbers correct '65 Comet Cyclone. When i visited him the other day i saw it is time to start taking some pics as he doesn't. He has a couple other interesting Fords, hopefully he'll uncover them so i can get a couple pics of those too.
